The Warehouse Management mobile app, part of D365 Supply Chain Management, is a new application, not an update of the legacy appIt’s available for both Windows and Android operating systems

  • Windows 10 (Universal Windows Platform [UWP]) Fall creators update 1709 (build 10.0.16299) or later
  • Android 4.4 or later

You can use the legacy app and redesigned version in parallel, giving you the option to migrate at your own pace; however, everyone will need to migrate as Microsoft discontinues support for the legacy version.

D365 Warehouse Mobile App Design Enhancements

Users familiar with the previous D365 Warehouse Management mobile app will immediately see the improved user experience. The design of the new Warehouse app is in line with the latest production floor execution interface and the Hololens view.

What sets this new Warehouse Management mobile app apart is the ability for the warehouse team member to customize the interface to help him work more efficiently. This includes

  • Adapting to different screen sizes/orientations
  • Changing the app's color themes and contrast depending on needs/preference.
  • Customizing input controls, touch targets, sound level, and text scale.

Saved Warehouse Management Mobile App Settings

Unlike previously, D365 now stores all the above user settings. The next time the user logs in into another of the (same) available mobile devices in the warehouse, their saved setup will load automatically. The ability for saved user settings is ideal for companies that share mobile devices between the users.
